Board of Directors
Matt Herrington is our Chief Executive Officer and has been a director since July 2026. Mr. Herrington is currently a Senior Vice President, Finance at Brookfield Corporation, a role he has held since March 2025, where he is responsible for global financial reporting and financial performance & analysis, as well as oversight of the investor relations function. Mr. Herrington joined Brookfield in 2018 and has held progressively senior finance roles across the organization. Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Herrington worked in the financial services audit group at Deloitte LLP from September 2012 to December 2017. Mr. Herrington has more than 13 years of experience across asset management, private equity, financial accounting, financial analysis and operations. Mr. Herrington has not served as a director within the past five years of any company that is (i) a public reporting company or (ii) a registered investment company. Mr. Herrington holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and holds Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant designations.
Karly Lancaric is our Chief Financial Officer and has been a director since July 2026. Ms. Lancaric is a Managing Director at Brookfield, where she is responsible for leading the finance initiatives of Oaktree and serves as its chief financial officer. Ms. Lancaric joined Brookfield in 2012 and has held progressively senior finance roles across the organization. Prior to joining Brookfield, she worked in the assurance and transaction advisory division of Ernst & Young. Ms. Lancaric holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba, is a Chartered Accountant, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Kunal Dusad has been a director since July 2026. Mr. Dusad is a Managing Director in Brookfield's Capital Markets and Treasury group. In this role, he oversees currency and interest rate risk management across the firm, in addition to the capital markets activities of Brookfield Corporation. Mr. Dusad joined Brookfield in 2019 in London where he was responsible for capital markets for the European Private Equity group. Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Dusad held various roles at a bank, credit fund and startup. Mr. Dusad holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Brett Fox has been a director since July 2026. Mr. Fox is a Managing Partner in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group, focusing on the execution of the group’s legal, governance and regulatory strategies. He has held several senior roles across the organization focused on legal, corporate and administrative matters. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2002, Mr. Fox was an Associate at the law firm Cahill Gordon & Reindel. Mr. Fox earned a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University.
Aleks Novakovic has been a director since July 2026. Mr. Novakovic is the Head of Strategic Initiatives for Brookfield Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for the advancement and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives. Prior to 2025, Mr Novakovic was the Global Head of Tax since 2004. Since joining Brookfield in 2004, Mr. Novakovic has held senior management positions and spearheaded several corporate initiatives, including the establishment and launch of Brookfield Wealth Solutions Ltd., Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. and numerous other publicly listed Brookfield affiliates. Mr Novakovic has served as a director of many Brookfield subsidiaries over the past twenty years, including financial institutions and asset management subsidiaries. Mr. Novakovic holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Brock University and qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario.
